Trunkmonkey Racing is in the process of moving over to the WebGUI system for maintaining the team Web site. We’ve also setup this blog for team members to dump random unpolished thoughts before they’re edited and added to the main Web site.

After my initial question to Ask Slashdot was rejected, I started doing research on possible search engines and mail archivers. Fortunately, a very similar question was posed to Ask Slashdot yesterday that covers some of the basics of my task.

After some tinkering I finally got Namazu to compile under Mac OS X. A message on the namazu-users-en mailing list showed a simple one-line patch that takes care of the problem under Mac OS X and Darwin. Thankfully, the patch will be applied to Namazu 2.0.13 so this will no longer be an issue.

It appears that Hitchhiker’s will be returning to BBC Radio 4. And there was much rejoicing…
