    We need to list download times for some of our packages so I found a calculator to figure everything out. It’s not the most accurate thing in the world, but it’s close enough for government work.

    Since the hectic work schedule has tapered off a little bit, I’ve started going back to the gym. This evening was my first day back in who knows how long, so I did a very simple workout. Two miles (22 minutes) on the elliptical and then 10 minutes of light lifting. It took a lot to get my heart rate up but, when I finally did, it stayed up around 165 for the duration of the elliptical workout. Let’s just hope I can keep it up…

  • Robert issues a rebuttal…

    Robert has issued a rebuttal on quickeasysolution.com stating that he was not responsible for forging return addresses in the batch of spams advertising his Web sites. He also claims that the credit card system on his Web site is a legitimate service being run through his ecommerce gateway and not a scam. I’d love to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the pages his ordering system directs customers to are not SSL-secured even though the text on the page claims that the connection is encrypted.

    So, the plot thickens. Robert has not returned any of my e-mails or voicemail messages and refused to talk to me when I showed up in person. I gave him a chance to set the record straight but got no response.

    Robert, if you’re reading this, I’d love to talk to you in person and give you the chance to set things straight.

  • Before and After Photos…

    I just realized that I haven’t posted any real before and after photos of my progress. The first photo on the left is an image taken last Summer where I was over 310 pounds. I’m around 250 pounds in the second photo after starting mountain biking again back in April.
